I picked up a Garmin eTrex Legend GPS. All I need now is a waterproof bag and some wind so I can try and do some speed sailing and record the results.

Off to Hatteras from 13 - 22 April for a holiday. Have rented a house at Brigand's Bay in Frisco. Will have to check out Windfest and take lots of pictures. Now have a 500mm lens, so I expect some good results.

Nice and windy last weekend but at -15 degrees it was a little too cold for sailing.

The ice in the lake looks like an off-shore reef.

Got tired of carrying my equipment to the Lake.
Amazing what you can do with a jogging stroller and lots of spare time.

Today there is a Gale Warning for Lake Ontario.
It is currently blowing 4 knots from the SE.......and it's raining!

Not a breath of wind!

Well, they are calling for 20kts from the SW this afternoon. Maybe we will get lucky!
